WTHC NEARBY LODGING
The WTHC has a limited number of cabins, cottages, houses, hunting lodges and apartments for rent within 5-15 mins of Wicked Outfitters. This lodging is available only through the WTHC office on a first come first serve basis for teams that have paid in full.
FREE LODGING FOR TEAM MEMBERS
The World Turkey Hunting Championship is pleased to offer a free place to stay for all team members of our 2017 teams. Each team member is allowed, but not obligated, to stay in a multi-bed bunk house at the Wild Wood Youth Camp approximately one mile from Wicked Outfitters.
There are bunkhouses available consisting of 20-30 beds each with bathrooms, showers, heat and electricity. Bed locations will be assigned upon arrival Monday, April 10th. All participants will be required to bring their own bedding/sleeping bags, pillows and towels (think back to summer camp style bunk houses). If a team wishes not to participate in the free bunkhouses and did not rent a cabin directly through the WTHC they will be responsible for booking their own hotel rooms. The closest hotel is the Paola Inn (approx. 25 miles away).
HOTELS
The WTHC has reserved a block of rooms at a discounted WTHC team rate at area hotels near the hunt site. To qualify for that rate, identify yourself as being with the WORLD TURKEY HUNTING CHAMPIONSHIP when calling. In fairness, we kindly request that all teams limit their reservation to one king and one double queen room.

Cabin Ridge Cabins, located adjacent to Wicked Outfitters Properties, have been reserved in advance for WTHC top sponsors and are not available for WTHC Teams.
PERSONAL CAMPERS, RVs, AND TENTS
Use of personal RVs, 5th wheels, campers and tents is encouraged with space available at La Cygne Lake Full Service Campground. This location has electricity and water hook-ups with bathroom and shower facilities available. The campground is approximately 1 mile away from Wicked Outfitters and each space rents for approximately $15 per night (rates subject to change).

TRAVEL
The closest international airport is KCI in Kansas City, Missouri, approximately one hour from the location of the WTHC event.
The Flextone World Turkey Hunting Championship is held at Wicked Outfitters, 22802 Valley road, La Cygne, Kansas 66040. Teams are encouraged to have at least one vehicle, preferably a pick-up or 4WD.
